Do you want to teach your kids about plants? Check out these plant part flashcards that teach your children the names of the parts of plants.

Kids are amazed when they find out how a plant grows, but it is even better when your students learn how a plant grows first. By the time your plant is sprouting, your children will be pointing out the parts of the plant they already know!

Kids love science because it is very hands-on. Kids seem to think about it even when they return home. Kids will come up to you and tell you how they helped a family member in the garden on the weekend.

A good way to back up what they have learned is to read a book with a similar theme and vocabulary. Usually books have more advanced vocabulary, giving your children the chance to learn even more words. For the best retention, its best to read the book more than once over the course of a week.
